Key Partners

The Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) is Living Cities’ key partner in Miami-Dade County . LISC’s Greater Miami Program, in turn, works closely with 15 community development corporations (CDCs) to achieve comprehensive community development.

The Knight Foundation, one of the original founding members of Living Cities, has provided significant funding of its own to organizations concerned with revitalizing the Overtown and East Little Havana neighborhoods. It has also persuaded other Living Cities funders to invest, including the Rockefeller Foundation and Bank of America.
