Nonprofits have explored modular housing as a tool to fill vacant lots scattered through their neighborhoods but have not been happy with the results. They seek support to work with modular builders and designers to develop products better suited to their surroundings.  

Invigorating investment in commercial activities

Funds are needed to sponsor research on the potential for retail development in Columbus's neighborhoods and to mount a campaign to convince retail developers to build.
