Support for South Chicago Retail Center

Equity-like investment will support a broad partnership to develop the former USX site in South Chicago. The local CDC and a private developer have identified an anchor store and are completing feasibility studies. The center would complement a factory being developed nearby, which is bringing $109 million in investment and 550 new jobs.
