Enterprise seeks funds to capitalize a land-banking initiative that will allow CDCs to acquire residential-development properties on the private market before finalizing the end use or establishing the feasibility of a project.  This initiative will help CDCs face the problem of rapidly increasing land prices in Atlanta .

Commercial Facilities

Several CDCs have expressed interest in developing space for use by social service providers, such as child care facilities. Funds are needed to underwrite development costs.
